Purpose of the Internship

Kagiso Trust remains dedicated to youth skills development and invites applications for its Programme Management Office (PMO) Internship Programme. This internship aims to provide unemployed graduates aged 18 to 35 with practical, work-based experience in programme and project management.

The programme will run for twelve (12) months, offering valuable exposure to operations within a dynamic development-focused organisation.

Key Areas of Exposure

The successful intern will gain experience in:

Administering documentation for programmes and projects within the PMO
Conducting research online and in the field, compiling reports, articles, and factsheets
Monitoring and reporting on global and national trends relevant to Kagiso Trust programmes
Providing administrative support for research activities
Organising programme meetings and preparing detailed meeting reports
Participating in the digitisation of programme management processes, including monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning (MERL) documentation and reporting

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must submit certified copies of the following documents:

Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 certificate
Diploma or Degree in Project Management, Development Studies, or Social Sciences
South African ID document
Academic transcript
Updated CV (maximum of 3 pages)

Remuneration

A monthly stipend will be provided to interns throughout the programme.
