About the Internship

This internship aims to provide practical training in employee wellness, equipping graduates with real-world experience in planning, implementing, and supporting workplace health and wellness programmes.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) in:
- Human Resource Management with a focus on Organisational/Industrial Psychology, or
- A related Social Sciences qualification with a specialisation in Employee Wellness
Must be a first-time entrant into the HR or Employee Wellness field (no prior internship or work experience in these areas)
Proficient in MS Office Suite
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail
South African citizenship

Description :

Key Responsibilities

Assist with organising and running employee wellness campaigns and events
Support various wellness initiatives, including mental health, chronic illness support, financial wellness, and physical wellbeing
Maintain accurate records of participation and wellness activities
Assist in creating and distributing wellness communications and educational materials
Collect and analyse employee feedback to help enhance wellness programmes
Conduct research on wellness trends and suggest innovative ideas
Support overall HR and institutional culture improvement initiatives
Carry out any other duties as required by the line manager
