Purpose of the Internship

Kagiso Trust is committed to empowering youth through skills development and invites applications from unemployed graduates aged 18 to 35 for its Local Government Support Internship Programme. This 12-month internship provides invaluable practical experience and exposure to key aspects of local government support and development.

Key Areas of Exposure

Successful candidates will gain experience in:

Project Management — assisting in planning, execution, and monitoring of local government support projects
Revenue Management — exposure to financial processes within local government structures
Data Collection and Management — gathering, analysing, and managing critical data for programmes and reporting
Stakeholder Management — engaging with various internal and external stakeholders to support programme goals
Programme Administration — supporting daily administrative functions and reporting

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must submit certified copies of the following documents:

Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 certificate
Relevant qualification in Project Management
South African ID document
Academic transcript
Updated CV (maximum of 3 pages)
Motivational letter explaining why your application should be considered

Remuneration
