INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) INTERNSHIP

Purpose of the Internship

Kagiso Trust is committed to developing youth skills by offering unemployed graduates valuable opportunities for hands-on, work-based experience. Applications are invited for the IT Internship Programme, open to graduates aged between 18 and 35. The internship will run for a period of twelve (12) months.

 

Key Responsibilities

During this internship, participants will gain practical exposure in the following areas:

• Providing support in organising end-user IT training sessions

• Monitoring and evaluating IT systems performance

• Assisting with database management and maintenance

• Handling IT and ICT support queries

• Supporting programme-related procurement processes

• Documenting IT processes and procedures

• Maintaining hardware and software systems

 

Minimum Requirements

To be eligible, applicants must possess:

• A certified Grade 12/NQF Level 4 certificate

• A certified copy of a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, IT Systems Management, or an equivalent qualification

• A certified copy of their South African ID

• A certified copy of their academic transcript

• A comprehensive CV and motivational letter explaining why they should be considered for the role

Remuneration

• A monthly stipend will be provided (market-related).
