Development Control Planner Intern

Description :

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
Relevant tertiary qualification, preferably a B Degree or National Diploma in Architecture, Urban Design, or equivalent Planning degrees.
Actively working towards professional registration as a planner, architect, or urban designer (i.e. candidate member).
Computer literacy.

Experience

Must be a recent graduate with the ability to gain relevant practical experience within a reasonable period.

Description :

Knowledge and Skills

Strong analytical and administrative skills.
Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
Good understanding of government strategies, policies, and legislation.
Sound knowledge of Integrated Development Planning (IDP) and Spatial Development Framework (SDF) processes.
