Description :
Sasol, in collaboration with The Education Support Forum (TEDSF) and the Jobs Fund, is offering a 4-week Solar PV (Photovoltaic) Training Programme aimed at empowering young South Africans with skills and knowledge in the renewable energy sector. This initiative supports the development of talent for South Africa’s fast-growing green energy industry, with a focus on solar power.
Programme Purpose
The training is designed to boost skills, enhance employability, and promote entrepreneurship in the renewable energy space.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Aged between 18 and 35 years old

Passionate about pursuing a career in the green energy sector (especially solar)

Keen to improve technical skills and job readiness in green energy

Able to commit to the full 4-week training programme

Existing small business owners in the energy sector looking to expand their skillset are also encouraged to apply

Hold an NCV Level 4 Engineering Studies qualification or N3–N6 Engineering Studies

Be a resident of uMhlathuze Local Municipality
