About CSOS

The Community Schemes Ombud Service (CSOS) was established under the Community Schemes Ombud Service Act (Act 9 of 2011), promulgated on 11 June 2011. It operates as a public entity and is classified as a Schedule 3A Public Entity under the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Act No. 1 of 1999.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be a South African citizen.

• Completed Grade 12 (Matric).

• Minimum qualification at NQF Level 4.

• Basic computer skills.

• Proficient in English.

• Must not be permanently employed.

• Must not be enrolled in any other tertiary education institution.

• Must not have participated previously in a learnership programme.
