About the Opportunity
eThekwini Municipality is pleased to announce exciting opportunities for graduates in creative and artistic disciplines through its Work Experience Programme 2025/2026. This programme is specifically designed for individuals with no previous work experience, aiming to bridge the gap between academic studies and practical work exposure.
The initiative offers invaluable skills development, mentorship, and hands-on experience within the public sector’s Community Development Projects under the Corporate and Human Capital Cluster. It’s an excellent gateway for aspiring creatives to gain professional experience, enhance employability, and build networks for a successful career.

The programme is open to graduates who hold qualifications in the following Art and Design disciplines:

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must:

Be South African citizens.

Possess a recognized qualification or N6 Certificate for TVET students seeking Work Integrated Learning (WIL) for Nated Diploma recognition.

Ensure that their qualifications are not older than five years.
-
Have not previously participated in any government or private sector Work Experience / Internship / In-service / WIL programme for 12 months or longer.

Be passionate, creative, and eager to gain practical work experience in the Art and Design field.
