Minimum Requirements:

• An appropriate, recognized Trade Test Certificate as recognized by SAQA.

• A valid driver’s license (not required for people with disabilities).

 

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of relevant Acts and regulations.

• Knowledge of electrical maintenance manuals, health and safety measures, and technical analysis.

• Computer-aided technical applications and understanding of legal compliance.

• Strong technical report writing, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• Teamwork, decision-making, creativity, customer focus, and good communication.

• Planning, organizing, and self-management abilities.

• Computer literacy.

Description :

Key Performance Areas:

• Maintain and repair electrical systems in the facility.

• Identify and resolve minor electrical faults.

• Handle minor construction electrical projects.

• Attend to job cards and perform other electrical-related duties.

• Conduct electrical fault finding and repairs.
