About the Opportunity
eThekwini Municipality invites applications for its Work Experience Programme 2025/2026, offering an exciting opportunity for graduates in Agriculture, Natural Sciences, and Environmental Studies who currently have no prior work experience.
This initiative is aimed at bridging the gap between academic learning and practical workplace experience, equipping young professionals with crucial skills while contributing meaningfully to environmental sustainability, resource management, and community development within the municipality. Successful candidates will work within the Community Development Projects Branch, gaining exposure to diverse municipal projects and operations.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered:

Be a South African citizen.
-
Hold a recognized tertiary qualification or N6 Certificate for TVET students pursuing Work Integrated Learning for Nated Diploma completion.

Qualifications must be no older than five years.
-
Must not have previously participated in any Government or Private Sector Work Experience / Internship / In-service / WIL programme for a duration of 12 months or longer.

Demonstrate a strong interest in environmental sustainability, agricultural development, or natural science applications.
