About the Opportunity:

Are you an enthusiastic and motivated student eager to step into the working world? Rainbow is offering a Quality Assurance Internship for students who require 12 months of practical experience to complete their qualification. This is an excellent opportunity to gain real-world exposure in a food production environment.

Purpose of the Role:

To ensure compliance with Rainbow’s Total Integrated Management System and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor production lines and complete required quality check sheets
Conduct inspections and tests on poultry products to ensure they meet specifications (e.g., pickups, operator instructions, machine settings)
Report quality deviations and recommend corrective actions to the Processing and Engineering teams
Follow up on the implementation of corrective measures and escalate if unresolved
Ensure employee adherence to ISO, GMP, and HACCP practices; recommend corrective actions when necessary
Monitor compliance with internal, customer, and regulatory quality requirements
Maintain good housekeeping in designated work areas
Prepare quality reports and graphs for management review and audit purposes
