About the Opportunity

Unilever invites applications for an In-Service Training opportunity in the Quality Department at our Lords View Factory. This role is ideal for students who need to complete their P1/P2 practical training in one of the following disciplines:

• Analytical Chemistry

• Biochemistry / Microbiology

• Food Technology

This structured programme will expose trainees to quality control processes, lab work, and manufacturing operations in a global FMCG environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Fulfil all requirements of the in-service training programme, including:

  • Attending scheduled training sessions

  • Completing assessments, projects, logbooks, and presentations

• Participate in daily factory operations: packing, cleaning, and quality control

• Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in assigned operations

• Follow safety protocols and Unilever’s Code of Business Principles

Description :

Minimum Requirements

• Matric/Grade 12 with at least 50% in Core Mathematics and Physical Science

• Currently completing a National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or Food Technology (P1/P2 required)

• Understanding of laboratory environments, protocols, and equipment

• Computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
