Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) plus one of the following:

  • BCom in Accounting

  • National Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Internal Audit

  • Or an equivalent relevant qualification

• Must be currently unemployed

• Must reside within the Moretele Municipality’s jurisdiction

 

Key Performance Areas

As a Finance Graduate Intern, you will be placed in the Budget & Treasury Department/Internal Audit Division and will gain hands-on experience in various financial and accounting functions, including:

• Preparing and performing reconciliations

• Capturing and processing financial transactions

• Compiling financial reports for internal and external use

• Supporting Supply Chain Management functions

• Assisting with Asset Management

• Handling Expenditure and Revenue Management tasks

• Supporting the Salaries Unit with payroll processes

• Assisting with Internal Audit functions and compliance
