About the Programme

The Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) is offering exciting Graduate Internship opportunities to unemployed South African graduates. These internships are designed to give graduates valuable workplace exposure, skills development, and career growth while contributing to the mandate of IPID in ensuring independent oversight of the police.

The programme is targeted at recent graduates who have not yet been employed in positions related to their field of study.

Requirements: NQF Level 6 or 7 qualification in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations, Media Studies, Call Centre Management, or equivalent
Centre: National Office, Pretoria

General Requirements

Must be a South African citizen.
Must be unemployed and have never participated in a similar internship programme.
Must submit a new Z83 form (download it below) – old Z83 forms will not be accepted.
Must attach a recently updated, detailed CV.
An affidavit confirming no prior participation in similar programmes must be included.
Foreign qualifications must be accompanied by a SAQA evaluation certificate (only when shortlisted).
Applicants will undergo security vetting, qualification verification, and competency checks.
