About the Opportunity:

Sasol is offering a Learner Fire Fighter Programme for motivated individuals who want to pursue a career in firefighting. This structured learnership combines on-the-job training with formal learning to equip you with essential firefighting skills.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Take part in the Learnership Programme and complete all assessments.

• Participate in workplace readiness activities and firefighting exercises.

Minimum Requirements:

• National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent with passes in:

  • Technical Mathematics / Mathematics

  • English / Business English

  • Technical / Physical Science

• Valid Code B (or higher) Driver’s Licence.

• Must pass:

  • Fire Fighter fitness assessment.

  • Stress and fear tolerance test (working at heights, confined spaces, fire exposure).

• Ability to plan and manage tasks effectively.

• Strong problem-solving and learning agility.

• Self-awareness and commitment to personal growth.

• Accountability and teamwork skills.

Locations Available:

• Secunda: 6 positions.

• Sasolburg: 8 positions.
