About the Programme
The Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC), a valued member of the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic), is committed to empowering young South African graduates. We are offering a Graduate Internship Programme in Facilities Management, designed to give graduates practical experience in managing and maintaining corporate facilities, property assets, and workplace services.
This structured 24-month programme provides hands-on exposure to facilities and property management processes, preparing interns for a professional career in the sector.
What is an Internship?
As defined by Cabinet in December 2002, this internship is a public service graduate work experience initiative aimed at unemployed graduates. It provides an opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a professional environment, develop workplace skills, and gain a strong foundation for career growth.
Who Should Apply:

South African graduates aged 18–35 years.

Graduates who have completed a diploma or degree in Facilities Management, Property Management, Building Construction Services, or Business Administration.

Applicants with no prior work experience or previous participation in any CIPC Internship programme.
Benefits and Remuneration

A monthly stipend of R12,000.

Note: Successful candidates will be required to sign a Graduate Internship Programme Agreement.
