About the Opportunity
eThekwini Municipality invites applications for its Work Experience Programme 2025/2026, offering exceptional opportunities for graduates in Finance and Economics who currently have no prior work experience.
This programme is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical studies and the professional work environment, enabling graduates to gain practical skills and experience within the financial and economic sectors of the municipality. Successful candidates will join the Community Development Projects Branch, contributing to critical financial and economic development initiatives.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must:

Be South African citizens.

Possess a recognized tertiary qualification or N6 Certificate for TVET students pursuing Work Integrated Learning for Nated Diploma completion.

Ensure qualifications are not older than five years.

Not have previously participated in any Government or Private Sector Work Experience / Internship / In-service / WIL programme lasting 12 months or longer.

Demonstrate strong interest and foundational knowledge in financial, economic, and commercial fields.
