About the Program

The Graduate Management Trainee (GMT) Programme serves as a vital pipeline for developing future leaders who will help us meet both current and future business challenges. Since its inception, the GMT Programme has welcomed over 2,300 talented individuals worldwide—many of whom have left a significant legacy. What to Expect as a GMT

During the first 10 months, GMTs can look forward to:

  • Three-month rotational assignments, aligned to our three strategic pillars.

  • Exposure to areas such as Marketing, Sales, Technology, Supply, and Logistics, working on real business challenges.

  • Participation in the Cheers! Festival (Global Induction), where GMTs hear directly from senior leaders about company strategy and connect with peers worldwide.

  • Access to a global GMT alumni network.

  • Potential opportunities in various locations across the region (geographic mobility required).

  • Formal mentoring and access to specialized learning and development programs.

  • Unique opportunities to engage with senior leadership.

  • Placement in a front-line role upon programme completion, with an openness to navigating diverse career paths.

Candidate Profile

Minimum Requirements:

  • Completed undergraduate degree by the program start date (STEM disciplines preferred).

  • Postgraduate studies (PGDip in Business Administration, Master’s degree, or equivalent) are advantageous.

  • A maximum of 3 years of total full-time formal work experience by the program start date. (Internships, vacation work, short-term contracts, and co-op experiences are excluded from this total.)

  • Full legal work authorization and citizenship in South Africa.

  • Proficiency in English.

  • Full mobility and willingness to relocate for opportunities across various locations.
