About the Opportunity

Western TVET College invites applications for its Electrician Apprenticeship programme, offering an exciting opportunity for unemployed graduates who have successfully completed their studies in Report 191/NATED N6 Electrical Engineering.

This apprenticeship is designed to equip candidates with practical, hands-on training and workplace experience, helping them become skilled artisans in the electrical trade. It’s an excellent pathway into a secure and in-demand profession while gaining valuable experience and qualifications recognised in the industry.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this apprenticeship opportunity, applicants must:

Be South African citizens residing in Gauteng.
Be between the ages of 18 and 35 years old.
Have successfully completed N6 in Electrical Engineering (Report 191/NATED).
Not have participated in any other SETA-funded apprenticeship or learnership programme.
Be currently unemployed.

Required Documents

Applicants must submit the following certified documents (not older than 6 months):

A current and updated Curriculum Vitae (CV).
Two certified colour copies of ID document.
Certified copy of Matric (Grade 12) certificate.
Certified copy of N6 certificates or statement of results in Electrical Engineering.
Signed and stamped Academic History.
Affidavit confirming unemployment status.
Affidavit confirming no previous participation in any SETA-funded apprenticeship or learnership.
Bank confirmation letter or proof of banking details.
SARS letter confirming Tax number.
